Texas Health Care FAQ
Q: Who owns Texas Health Care, P.L.L.C.?
A: Texas Health Care is equally owned by its physician members. There is no outside
ownership, venture capital, or hospital interest in the company.
Q: What makes Texas Health Care physicians different?
A: Texas Health Care uses a central business office to coordinate most business office functions
and other services including contracting, accounting, human resources, medical malpractice, credentialing, government
compliance and ancillary services. By streamlining and standardizing the elements of medical practice that do not impact
patient care, our physicians are able to spend time with those who need them the most – their patients.
Q: Does Texas Health Care have any other services besides physician offices?
A: Texas Health Care owns and operates an Imaging Office exclusively for its physician members
and patients, currently offering:
- MRI
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Bone Density
We also own a physical therapy service.
Q: How do I find a physician affiliated with Texas Health Care?
A: We have a complete list of our physicians on this Web site.
Q: How do I find out if a Texas Health Care physician takes my insurance?
A: Although we maintain a list of insurance companies and health plan providers on our Web site, the best way to determine
if a physician takes your insurance is to call the office for verification.
