Marty Corsten, MD FRCSC is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon who has done an advanced Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of California, Davis. His past leadership roles were as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at Aurora Health Care, a 15 hospital system in Wisconsin, and as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada. He is the Past President of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and the former Examination Chair for Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Corsten's main clinical focus is in the surgical treatment of Head and Neck Cancer as part of a multi-disiplinary team. He performs the full range of head and neck cancer resections and reconstructions, including microvascular free tissue transfer, transoral robotic surgery, sentinel node biopsy for melanoma and cyberknife surgery. In addition, Dr. Corsten has worked extensively with neurosurgery in endonasal and open skull base surgical procedures. He also maintains a busy endocrine surgery practice for thyroid and parathyroid lesions, as well as benign tumors of the head and neck.
Dr. Corsten will be working primarily in Dallas and welcomes any referrals for Head and Neck Surgery or General Otolaryngology.
