Dr. Timothy P. Ratino joins the practice in pain management with his brother in Fort Worth and will also practice at Baylor All Saints Hospital, Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth and Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth.
He earned his medial degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and was a pain management fellow at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Ratino also was an internal medicine (preliminary year) resident at Creighton University Medical Center.
"I became a pain physician because as a medical student I learned how chronic pain can greatly affect a patient’s quality of life," he said. "I am a patient advocate and will leave no stone unturned to provide a patient with the most appropriate care."
Dr. Ratino takes a multi-disciplinary approach to each patient and works hard to understand every patient's concerns.
He was involved in bone histology research at Creighton University Osteoporosis Research Center under the supervision of Doctors Diane Cullen and Robert Recker.
Dr. Ratino is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He is married with one daughter. His wife is also in the medial field, working as a radiologist.
"Dr. Tim Ratino quickly diagnosed my problem and immediately helped me find relief. As a patient in pain, you want a doctor who genuinely cares about your pain and I would recommend him to any of my friends who need a doctor with a pain management specialty." George S.
