Nicole Tod, DO

Dr. Nicole Tod is an obstetrician and gynecologist serving patients in Fort Worth and Keller, Texas.

Dr. Tod attended Boston University in Boston, MA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Dr. Tod attended Medical School at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her residency at John Peter Smith Hospital. While in residency, Dr. Tod participated in several quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. She completed a Patient Experience Mastery Program and believes in creating the most pleasant and safest experiences possible for her patients.

Training at a county hospital program provided Dr. Tod with a vast experience in various disease pathologies. She has strong surgical training and is skilled in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and vaginal approaches. She is certified in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. She uses an evidence-based medicine approach in the development of treatment plans

Dr. Tod is passionate about women’s healthcare and helping women navigate their health through all seasons of life. She believes in a patient centered approach and helping women feel empowered to make the best decisions for their reproductive health.

Dr. Tod is married to Chris, a native Fort Worthian, which has cemented her Texas ties. She enjoys trips up north to her native Canada and other mountain towns when she gets a chance. She likes a variety of fitness classes, including spin and yoga. She also likes to take advantage of all the amazing foodie spots in the DFW metroplex.
