Dr. Ramu Rangineni is an Internal Medicine Physician in the DFW Area. 

He received his medical degree in 1996 from the iconic Annamalai University in Tamilnadu, India, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates. In 2004, Dr. Rangineni completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, which is affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Bronx, NY.  

Dr. Rangineni received many awards including one for excellence in the ambulatory care setting, as well as the 2014 Resident of the Year award for all-round exemplary performance. He is an active member of the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital at Fort Worth Southwest and has held leadership roles such as Chief of the Division of Internal Medicine and the Chief of Staff. 

Dr. Rangineni strongly believes that health care should be provided in such a way that it treats the person, and not just a health condition. Even after working as a full-time hospitalist for the last 17 years, he believes that he is still learning something new each day and continues to strive to provide the best care for his patients. He is happily married and has two children in middle school. He enjoys reading and tries to spend as much time as possible with his family when he is not working. He also enjoys traveling with his family.
