Dr. Ricardo Cristobal is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon in Fort Worth. He is also board-certified in neurotology and skull base surgery.
Dr. Cristobal’s practice focuses on treating problems of the ear and skull base, including unilateral and bilateral hearing loss, chronically draining ears, disorders of balance, facial nerve problems and skull base tumors. He enjoys educating patients about their diseases and actively engages and involves them in all decisions throughout their care.
Dr. Cristobal completed his fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed an otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a general surgery internship at the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Cristobal also holds a certification in Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Cristobal received his doctoral degree in Neurobiology from the University of California Los Angeles and his medical degree from the University of Navarra School of Medicine in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain. His research focuses on hearing outcomes with implantable hearing devices, as well as management of sudden hearing loss. Dr. Cristobal is fluent in Spanish.
Married with two children, Dr. Cristobal enjoys bicycling, motorcycles and photography.
